Spring 2019
  • IMPACT lab members presented at SRCD!
  • Dr. Mayra Bamaca-Colbert was voted a SRCD Latino Caucus member at large. 
  • Lorena Aceves was voted a SRCD Latino Caucus student representative.

  • IMPACT lab welcomed a new member, Jasmin!
  • IMPACT Lab members Lorena and Griselda will be presenting at NCFR.
  • Lab Director, Mayra, just became an Associate Editor. 
  • Data collection for ENLACES-TIES will begin!

Spring 2018

  • IMPACT lab attended the Society for Research on Adolescence biennial meeting where lab members Lorena and Griselda will be presenting their most current work.  Lab director, Dr. Mayra Bamaca, will be the discussant for various paper sessions. 
  • Dr. Mayra Bamaca will be on sabbatical this semester.

Fall 2017 

  • IMPACT lab welcomed a new lab member, Griselda Martinez!
  • Lorena, current IMPACT lab member, successfully defended her master's thesis and passed candidacy!
  • The groundwork for IMPACT lab's newest project ENLACES-TIES took off. 
  • IMPACT lab attended NCFR 2017 and Lorena received an award from the Latino Focus group for the best poster with a positive understanding of LATINX individuals and families.
